Columbia Icefield (CIF)

Entrances
  • Main entrance facing Optometry, located on the Northeast corner is accessible with an automatic door.
  • South entrance facing Warrior Field is accessible via a gravel path.
  • Entrance at the rear of the building is ramped.

First Floor

Gym wing

  • Accessible washrooms are located half way down the main hallway.
  • Additional washrooms are available in the change rooms.
  • Showers in change rooms have grab bars.

Icefield wing

  • Washrooms are available next to the manager's office.

Comments
  • Vending machines are located in the Icefield wing.
  • Change rooms are equipped with accessible showers with no seat.
  • Door to Icefield wing is heavy.
  • Accessible parking for persons with disabilities is available in most lots. For details, contact Parking Services.
  • Two accessible parking spots are available at the CIF main entrance on the North side of the building.

Field House Wing
  • The Field House is fully accessible via all building’s entrances.
  • An accessible washroom is located next to the Field House Front Desk.
  • A General Washroom is also next to the Field House Front Desk, with accessible stalls with grab bars.

Warrior Field
  • Warrior Field is fully accessible via Northeast and Northwest gated entrances.
  • The bleachers are wheelchair accessible. 
  • Accessible bleachers seating is available in the first five spots of the front row.
